How to Use the Review of Systems Panel on the General Examination Form


General Medical Examination is also referred to as periodic health evaluation, annual physical, general health check, comprehensive medical examination, routine physical or a physical examination that has been performed on a patient. 

  • The contents of this User Manual will consist of the following information:
    • Review of Symptoms

  • Click on the Review of Systems panel.
  • This is where one can go into more detail about the patient's issues that is specified in terms of the different systems in the human body. System examples are "ENT and Ophthalmology," "Respiratory," "Cardiovascular," "Lymphatic," "Psychiatric" and much more.

  • Click on the "ENT and Ophthalmology" panel to expand it. 
  • When you click on a sub-panel once, it will change to green indicating that all is normal. 


  • When you click on it again, it will change to red indicating that there are some issues where you'll then be able to capture these issues. 


  • Under the "Nose" sub-panel, you will see that there are images and free text boxes available.
  • You can click on the image self and from there you can edit it with a pen and/or add a text field. 
  • Once you're done, click on the "Save" button. 


  • Underneath each image you can choose to take a picture with your computer's camera by clicking on the "Camera" button, or "Upload from File" and Load from External Upload" to upload from other sources. 
  • Add extra Notes under these images. 


  • The Patient is experiencing some issues with their breathing, so we'll indicate this in the "Respiratory" system. 


  • Next panel is Cardiovascular, just to show you some special Actions: 


  • If you've expanded the "Cardiovascular" panel, select Heart Sounds/Murmurs.
  • When you select the sub-panel, "Heart Sounds/Murmurs," you will see that there are special actions for this system as well as free text boxes for extra notes. 


  • Here is just a quick view of the "Musculoskeletal" system and all the features and images underneath. 


  • Under the "Psychiatric" panel we can mention that the patient suffers from OCD.


  • Under the "Neurology" panel, just a few of the special features.



  • If the "Review of Systems" panel is all Completed, it will turn green and indicate its Completed on the side.
