Clinical Information (Web App)

Adding the PMB Smart Sticker to a Patient serves as a reminder that the Patient qualifies for special benefits relating to their chronic condition. These benefits guarantee the Patient's access to vital medical care. Medical Aids are required by law to cover specific medical conditions regardless of the coverage or plan that the Patient has.

Please Note: The PMB Smart Sticker can only be added to the Patient once the setup of the Smart Sticker Protocol has been done. For more information regarding the setup of the workflow, please refer to the user manual: PMB Registration  Workflow Setup Overview.

• There are 4 ways that a Patient can be added to the PMB Condition Smart Sticker Protocol:
• From the Script screen 
• From the Clinical screen 
• From the Clinical History screen 
• From the Invoice screen

From the Script screen

• For more information on how the Script screen works, please refer to the user manual: Basic Script Features.
  
  
• Enter the ICD-10 code into the Diagnosis field.

• If the ICD-10 code was added to the PMB Smart Sticker workflow the Patient will automatically be added to PMB Smart Sticker protocol, if they have not been added yet, a notification will appear at the bottom of the screen to advise that the Patient has been automatically added to the Protocol.

Please Note: Only the ICD-10 codes that have been selected as part of the setup will trigger the system to register the Patient to the protocol.

From the Clinical screen

• For more information regarding the Clinical screen, please refer to the user manual: Clinical Screen Overview.

• Click on the Sticker button on the Clinical sidebar.

• The DAMA Protocol screen will open. 

• Click on the Choose protocol... drop-down menu to select the PMB protocol.

• Click on the + button to add the Patient to the PMB protocol.

• The PMB protocol will now be added to the Patient.

• Click on the Save button to keep the changes that have been made.

• The Clinical Care Smart Sticker will be added to the Patient and displayed on the Diary sidebar.

From the Clinical History screen

• For more information regarding the Clinical History screen, please refer to the user manual: Clinical History Screen: Navigation and Use

• Click on the Sticker button on the Clinical History sidebar.

• The DAMA Protocol screen will open. 

• Further, please follow the steps as shown in the section of this user manual: From the Clinical screen.

• After the protocol was added the Smart Sticker will be added to the Patient and displayed on the Diary sidebar.
  

From the Invoice screen

• Enter the ICD-10 code into the Diagnosis field.

• If the ICD-10 code was added to the PMB Smart Sticker workflow the Patient will automatically be added to Smart Sticker Smart Sticker protocol, if they have not been added yet a notification will appear at the bottom of the screen to advise that the Patient has been automatically added to the Protocol.
