Print Medicine Label
Why Use This Function:
Printing a Medicine Label allows the practice to create labels that are affixed to the packaging of medications. Printing Medicine Labels ensures that the correct medication is issued to the correct Patient and that the information printed on the label enables the Patient to use the medication safely and as intended by the Practitioner.
A Medicine Label is a self adhesive sticker that is attached to the medication packaging. The label displays the name of the medication, the Patient details, the directions for use, the details of the Practitioner who prescribed the medication, the quantity dispensed, and the schedule of the medication.
Printing of Medicine Labels must be enabled before labels can be printed. For more information on enabling Medicine Labels, please refer to the General Settings section of the system manual.
A label printer is required to print the self adhesive labels and the printer must be correctly configured. For more information on setting up the label printer, please refer to System Options under Miscellaneous.
GoodX provides a list of recommended label printers that are compatible with the GoodX software. These printers can be customised to suit the required label size. For more information on supported printers, please refer to the Label Printers and Scanners section of the system manual.
