Print Medicine Label

Printing a Medicine Label allows the user to create labels that are affixed to the packaging of medications. Printing Medicine Labels ensures that the correct medication goes to the right Patient and the information that is printed on the label ensures that the Patient is able to safely use the medication as intended by the Practioner.

A Medicine Label is a self-adhesive sticker that is attached to the packaging of medications. The name of the medication, the Patients' details, the directions for use, the details of the Practitioner who prescribed the medication, how many items are in the packaging and the schedule of the medication will all be indicated on the label.

Please Note: Only Practices that sell Material items and/or dispense Medicine will be able to Print Medicine Labels.

Users will need to enable the Printing of Medicine Labels before they are able to print them. For more information regarding the enabling of Medicine Labels, please refer to the user manual: General Settings.

A label printer is needed in order to print the self-adhesive labels and the printer needs to be set up. For more information on where to set up the label printer, please refer to the user: System Options: Miscellaneous.

GoodX has a list of recommended Label Printers that is compatible with the GoodX software, that can be customised to the size of the label that the user requires. For more information regarding the printer recommendations, please refer to the user manual: Label Printers & Scanners.
