Medical Aid List Screen: Navigation and Use



The Medical Aid List screen gives you access to all Medical Aids, Options and their Administrators with all the contact details. You are able to view and filter the lists only to show what you want to see. 

Please Note: Currently, the possibility to Edit existing entries and to Create new entries is only possible on the Desktop App. For more information, please refer to the user manuals: Medical Aids: Medical Aid ListsMedical Aids: Schemes, and Medical Aids: Administrator.

Administrator 

Administrators are organisations that manage and administer the operations of Medical Aid Schemes or Health Insurance Plans, providing various administrative services to ensure that the Medical Aids run efficiently and members receive their entitled benefits. Administrators play a crucial role in claims processing, benefit management, regulatory compliance, and customer support.



Scheme
Provides comprehensive healthcare coverage to their members, ensuring access to necessary medical services while offering financial protection against the high costs of medical care.

  • Click on the Scheme tab.


  • The Scheme screen will open.



Medical Aid Option
A specific plan or package offered by a Medical Aid Scheme that provides a predefined set of benefits and coverage levels. Each Medical Aid Scheme typically offers multiple options to cater to the diverse healthcare needs and financial capacities of its members.

  • Click on the Medical Aid Option tab.


  • The Medical Aid Option screen will open.
