How to Send Text Messages on a Telemed Call
You have the ability to send text messages to the Practitioner during a Telemed call. For security reasons, the history of these text messages will not be saved and the messages can only be seen by those on the call. The ability to use text messaging within the call can enhance communication clarity, facilitate the sharing of resource links and medication instructions, and assist in situations where the Patient has hearing impairments or the audio quality is poor.

Please Note: Messages can only be sent during the call by people on the call.
- Click/Tap on the Message field to enter the message that you would like to send to the Practitioner.
- Click/Tap on the Send button to send the Message.
- The Message that you have sent will be displayed in the Messages section.
- When the Practitioner messages back, their Message will also be added to the Messages section.
