myGC: Delete My Account
Deleting a myGC account will allow a user to permanently remove their account from the myGC database. The account will not be deleted immediately, the process will take 31 days to complete. After 31 days the user is able to recreate their myGC account should they wish to with the same information that was used before the account was deleted. The user is able to still use their account within the 31 day deletion period.
- Log in to the myGC App with your myGC username and password.

The myGC Dashboard screen will open.
- For an extensive explanation of how to log in, please refer to the user manual: Log in.
- Click on the Setup tab on the Navigation panel.
- The Setup screen, My Account tab will open.
- Click on the Settings tab to access the application Settings.
- The Settings screen will open.
- Click on the Delete My Account button.
- An Are you sure? pop-up will appear to ask the user whether they would like to delete their myGC account.
Please Note: Deleting a myGC account is permanent and cannot be recovered, once the 31 day period has passed. Users should be very careful when deleting their accounts.
- Click on the Password field to type the password associated with the account that the user would like to delete.
- Click on the show password icon to show the password that has been typed into the Password field. The icon will change to the hide password icon.
- Click on the hide password icon to conceal the password again.
- Click on the Cancel button to cancel the request, close the pop-up and return to the Settings screen.
- Click on the Delete button to continue to delete the account.
- A pop-up will appear to advise that the account has successfully been marked for deletion.
Please Note: The deletion process will take 31 days and can not be undone. The user will have full access to their account within the deletion process.
