EMR Form: Doctor Sign-off

The EMR Form is used to provide decision support to healthcare professionals with respect to the rendering of healthcare services to an individual patient and accommodate data exchange in the Emergency Room.

A Doctor will Sign-off on a clinical form once he is done with the examination and he is happy with all the information that he gathered. This is to simplify the transaction should a patient needs to be transferred to another department, admitted to hospital or discharged.

  • Log in to the GoodX WebApp using your GoodX username and password.
  • From the Diary main screen, click on the correct patient booking.

  • The Sidebar will open on the right-hand side of the screen.

  • Click on the Clinical button.

  • The Clinical Case screen will open.

  • From the Forms Library drop-down, select the EMR form to complete.

  • The EMR Form screen will open.

  • Click on the Doctor Sign-off panel to expand it.

  • The Doctor Sign-off screen will open when the panel is expanded.

Please Note: Before doing the Doctor Sign-Off, the following criteria must be met as displayed in the Doctor Sign Off section. If these sections are not completed and the criteria are not met, the Doctor won't be able to add his Signature to the Form. ONLY a user that is set up as a Doctor can do the Sign-Off on the EMR Form. Please refer to the User Entity Settings - General Settings link or related button to open the Manual for more information on How to set up the Doctor.
