Workflow Event Templates List


  • Log into the GoodX Web App with your username and password.
  • From the Diary screen, click on the Settings button in the top-right corner.

  • The Settings screen will appear, click on Entity Settings.

  • Click once on the Workflow Event Templates panel to expand it.


  • Click on the Choose event type to add template for... drop-down to open the Workflow event list.
  • The following information will appear:
    • CALL EVENT: The call event screen is used with the VoIP calling function. From this screen, the user or practitioner is allowed to call the debtor/patient, access their account and personal details. The user can also see if there are any outstanding amounts and notes that were made on the file. Please refer to the VoIP Call link to see how the call events screen work.


    • Consent form: This form is used for medical purposes in order to hold the hospital or surgeon harmless of any wrongdoing due to the risks involved with the procedure. A Consent Form gives written  permission to another party that they understand the terms of an event or activity that will be performed.


    • CUSTOM: The user/practitioner can set up their own custom form for the patient to complete when they come into the practice. This can be a questionnaire or any form regarding their practice or treatment.


    • DISCHARGE FORM: The user or practitioner needs to complete this form when a patient needs to be discharged. This form is an indication of admission time and when the patient was discharged. The discharge form will also state when the patient refused treatment, notes can be taken on here and the user/practitioner can also give a follow-up date. Please refer to the Discharge patient from bed user manual to get a detailed example of the discharge form.


    • EMAIL: The user/practitioner can send an email to the patient/debtor or to another doctor. It can be for a sick note, to see the general examination results, for an invoice. Please refer to the related button at the top of this manual to see how the email is working.


    • EYE EVAL: An eye examination is a series of  tests that measure a person's ocular health and visual status, to detect abnormalities in the components of the visual system, and to determine how well the person can see.

    • GYNAECOLOGIST FORM:
    • MEDLINK INTAKE: MedLink is a company that supplies in-flight medical assistance and pre-flight passenger assessment by phone. They are typically called when a passenger wants to fly with oxygen — for assessment and for making the oxygen arrangements. They are also called when there is an in-flight emergency.

    • NOTE: The user/practitioner is able to create a note on the patient while they are busy with the examination or when the user needs to give the patient information after they have left. This is a free text field.


    • OPERATION: The operation template is where you set up the operation team, the operation details, and the theatre details.


    • PATHOLOGY: Pathology is the study of the causes and effects of disease or injury. The practitioners make use of different pathology providers such as LANCET, AMPATH, PATHCARE


    • PATIENT HISTORY:
    • PATIENT SURVEY: A survey that enables local managers and health professionals to weigh patients' views and provide statistics—e.g., on the number of patient surveys conducted


    • PAYMENT REQUEST: The user/practitioner is allowed to send a message to a patient/debtor that didn't settle their account. The payment request template can be set up so that the user/practitioner doesn't have to enter the message every time.


    • PDF REPORT:
    • QUICK NOTE: The user/practitioner is able to create a note on the patient while they are busy with the examination or when the user needs to tell the patient something after they have left. This is a free text field.


    • REFERRAL LETTER: referral letter is an essential means of communication between primary and secondary care, giving the receiving clinician/department a detailed summary of the patient's presenting complaint and medical history to ensure a smooth transition of care.


    • REPORT:
    • SCHEME AUTH: The template is used when the user/practitioner needs to get an authorization code from the Medical Aid to see whether they will pay for the treatment or not.

    • SCRIPT: An informal word for a prescription. The practitioner enters the ICD10 code
    • SICK NOTE: A letter from a doctor to your employer that says that you are too ill to work. The ICD10 code will also appear on the sick note. Please refer to the Script and Sick Note button at the top of the manual to see how to set up your Script and sick note.     • SMS: The user/practitioner can send an SMS to the patient/debtor to remind them of their appointment or about their outstanding account balance. Please click on the Booking Reminder SMS/Email link to get a detailed example of the SMS template.

    • UPLOAD BOOKING: In the case of which a patient sends a video or the doctor made a video (with permission) of the examination, the practitioner can upload the video to the case file.
