Why Use This Function:

SMS Workflow Event Templates are pre-configured messages that you are able to send to Debtors and Patients. These templates are designed to streamline repetitive tasks, such as sending appointment reminders, payment notifications, follow-ups, or health-related alerts, saving time and reducing the risk of human error. 

By standardising messages through SMS Workflow Event Templates, the Practice ensures that communication is consistent, professional, and compliant with operational and legal requirements.

💡Please Note: These templates are set up per Entity, allowing each Practice to tailor messages to its specific operational processes, Patient engagement needs, and workflow requirements.

• This user manual will start on the Diary screen.

• On the Diary screen, click on the Settings button in the top right corner.

• Click on Entity Settings tab to expand.

• Click on the Workflow Event Templates panel to expand.

• Click on the Choose Event Type to Add Template for drop-down menu to expand.

• Enter SMS and select desired template.

• Click on Add Template when you've selected SMS from the list.

• Template Description: You can give your SMS Template a specific Name/Description in the field.

• Placeholders: You can use different placeholders in the SMS that will automatically import the information from the system ex Name of the Patient/Date/Practice Name etc.

• Contact Number: A placeholder will be used here for the cell number of the Patient. The system will automatically import the patient's cell number when sending an SMS using the Template.

• Complete the body of the SMS Template and use the different placeholders if you want to.

• SAVE your template when done.
