DA: Electronic Remittance Advice for Online Patient Payments
ERA: Electronic Remittance Advice is a way of importing receipts captured by the Medical Aids against Debtors or cases into GoodX in a structured way.
Payments made on the MYGC portal will be sent back in an ERA.
These ERA's do not emanate from Medical Aids. These ERA's accompany pay overs after patients submit online payments resulting from receiving payment links from the practice/business.
TAKE NOTE: Paymentlink ERA's will post as Patient Receipts. In order to use the Payment link ERA function, it needs to be set up in Supervisor Settings:
Payment link ERA Options:
- From the Navigator >> click on Supervisor >> System Options >> EDI Tab >> Paymentlink eRA
- Payment link eRA Cashbook:
- The correct eRA Cashbook needs to be set up for the Payment link payments. If the specific casebook is not selected, the default cashbook (KAS 11) will be selected.
- Click on the '3 dots' button in the Payment link eRA Cashbook field to select the correct cashbook for the payment link receipts.
- Select the KAS 12 Cashbook which, in this case, is the Payment link eRA Cashbook.
