Add Debtor Journals: List
Journals
Journals are done to:
- Create Opening balances
- Grant Discounts
- Allocate Write-offs
- Shift amounts between documents
TAKE NOTE: A Journal is never done to correct an error(e.g. you captured a receipt against the wrong patient) as journals combine your turnover and cash flow.
- You can do batch journal transactions by selecting Debtor Journal: Lists.
- Select Debtor Journal: List
- Sect the correct period and click on Ok(F2)
- Fill in the Journal Description and DEB Nr. and click on add to the batch.
TAKE NOTE: Remember to link the journal to the correct transaction. Choose the correct ledger by pressing tab in the ledger.
- Press OK.
- The Ledger is populated and the Journal info line must still be red.
- Press OK.
- Populate the info again if you have more transactions to do.
- Repeat the process.
