Add Debtor Journals: List

Journals

Journals are done to:

  • Create Opening balances
  • Grant Discounts
  • Allocate Write-offs
  • Shift amounts between documents

TAKE NOTE: A Journal is never done to correct an error(e.g. you captured a receipt against the wrong patient) as journals combine your turnover and cash flow.

  • You can do batch journal transactions by selecting Debtor Journal: Lists.

Select Journal Date

  • Select Debtor Journal: List

Journal Period Picker

  • Sect the correct period and click on Ok(F2)

Journal Info

  • Fill in the Journal Description and DEB Nr. and click on add to the batch.

Do Journal

TAKE NOTE: Remember to link the journal to the correct transaction. Choose the correct ledger by pressing tab in the ledger.

Choose Ledger

  • Press OK.

Capture List Journal

  • The Ledger is populated and the Journal info line must still be red.
  • Press OK.

Add to batch next

  • Populate the info again if you have more transactions to do.
  • Repeat the process.
