Price Update from Odoo

Medical Practices prices are updated from Odoo, Price update from Odoo will assist with faster and more efficient updates done throughout the year.
Confirmation on when new price packages are available will be communicated by the team leaders.

  • The contents of this user manual will consist of the following information:
    • Tariff Packages V2 (Post October 2020)
      • Updating options
    • Tariff Packages V1 (Pre October 2020)
    • Tariff Packages (V1 and V2)
  • Log in to Odoo using your Odoo username and password.
  • The View All Sites/Installs screen will open.


  • Click on the GoodX tab on the Navigation bar.


  • Click on View sites (Installs) on the Sidebar.


    • Click on the Search field in the top right-hand corner, to start searching the Practice name.


      • Type in the full name of the Practice for whom the prices need to be updated. For the purpose of the user manual, the Practice name is "Documentation". 

        • Press the Enter key on the keyboard to search for the Practice/Site/Install. 

    • The Practice name will be listed on the screen from which the user can select the desired Practice.


    • Click on the Practice name.


  • The Odoo profile of the selected Practice will open, with all the Practice details on it and the different tabs. The information on the screen is completed by the GoodX Admin department once they have received a new signed contract from the Practice. 


Please Note: Each Entity linked to the Practice profile prices will need to be updated separately. 

    • Click on the Entities tab to open up the list of entities linked to the Practice's profile.


      • A list of all Entities linked to the Practice profile will open.


  • Click on the name of the Entity for which the prices need to be updated. For the purpose of the user manual: 014 - GP Entity will be used.

    • The Open: Doctors screen will open.


  • Click on the Tariff Packages tab to open the different price updating options.


  • The Tariff Packages tab will expand and open on the Tariff Packages V2(Post October 2020) sub-tab.


  • The following options will be available under the Tariff Packages tab:


    • Last push time: The date (YYYY-MM-DD) and time (HH:MM:SS) the price package was last updated on for the specific entity. 


Tariff Packages V2 (Post October 2020)

The Tariff Packages V2 (Post October 2020) sub-tab contains zip price files for the Entity the user is logged into, which are the prices of Medical Aids after the price increase in October 2020.

    • The note informs the user that prices will be updated for ZA_VAT15 (South Africa, on VAT rate 15%). The Normal (Medical Aid Tariffs) prices after the 01 October 2020 tariff increase and, the preferred tab to be used for current price updates.


    • To Push Non-linking V2: The Tariff Packages that are included in the attached zip file will update when the green button is clicked. The option has no Pricelist Linking to Medical Aids, attached.
    • To Push Linking V2: The Tariff Packages that are linked here are the Tariff Packages that will update if the green button is clicked.

Please Note: The files attached to the To Push Non-Linking V2 and To Push Linking V2 zip files will be updated when the user clicks on the Green Push new Entity Tariffs V2 button.


Updating options

    • Click on the desired Tariff Update button to update the Practice prices.
      • An explanation will be given for each of the 4 Tariff Update buttons available to the user:


        • Push ALL tariffs for 2022: Will allow the user to only update prices for the year 2022. 
 
        • Push new Entity Tariffs V2: Allows the user to update prices for a new entity without price structure. 

        • "Gevaarlik" Push all Entity Tariffs V2 "Gevaarlik": Will update all Entity tariffs, not just the entity on which the user is currently logged in.
Please Note: The yellow "Gevaarlik" Push all Entity Tariffs V2 "Gevaarlik" button should be used with great caution.


        • Push new Entity Linking Tariff V2: Will updated all Entities linked to the Odoo profile not only the Entity selected.
      • A Confirm pop-up will appear if any of the Tariff Update buttons have been clicked. 


        • Click on the Cancel button to ignore the request to update and close the pop-up.


        • Click on the Ok button to proceed with the price update.



Available Tariff Packages


  • Tariff package description: The Name of the type of practitioner with the discipline code.
  • Tariff year: Will advise the user which year (YYYY) the Tariff Packages is from.
  • Discipline: A recognised qualification given to the medical professions. Each profession has a unique code by which the group can be identified.
  • Created on: Will show the year month day (YYYY-MM-DD) and the time (HH:MM:SS) the Tariff Packages was created.
  • Last Updated: The date and time stamp of when the price package was last modified. The user will see the year month date (YYYY-MM-DD) and time (HH:MM:SS).


Tariff Packages V1 (Pre October 2020)

The Tariff Packages Version 1(Pre October 2020) sub-tab contains zip price files for the Entity the user is logged into, which are the prices of Medical Aids prior to the price increase in October 2020. The user will use the tab when doing updates for Entities that have to do billing for service dates prior to October 2020.

    • Click on the Tariff Packages V1 (Pre October 2020) tab to open the available options. 


  • The following options will be available on the Tariff Packages V1 sub-tab.


    • The note informs the user that prices will be updated for ZA_VAT15 (South Africa, on VAT rate 15%). The Normal (Medical Aid Tariffs) prices before the 01 October 2020 tariff increase and, that this is the preferred tab to update from for new installations. 


  • To Push Non-linking V1: Indicates that the attached here will have only price updated for procedure codes and does not have Medical Aid linking.
  • To Push Linking V1: Tariff Packages attached here has price update for procedure code with Medical Aid price linking.

Tariff Update buttons

    • Click on the desired button to update tariffs prior to 1 October 2020. 


      • Push new Entity Tariff: The button will be used by the user to update prices on a new entity that needs to have a price update on prices prior to 1 October 2020 Medical Aid tariff increase.  


      • Push new Entity Linking Tariffs: The user will use the button to update the linking of Medical Aid.


      • "GEVAARLIK" Push all Entity Tariffs "GEVAARLIK": Will updated all Entities linked to the Odoo profile not only the Entity selected. 
    • A Confirm pop-up will appear if any of the Tariff Update buttons have been clicked. 


        • Click on the Cancel button to ignore the request to update and close the pop-up.


        • Click on the Ok button to proceed with the price update.


Tariff Packages All (V1 AND V2)

The Tariff Packages All (Version 1 and Version2) sub-tab contains zip price files for the Entity the user is logged into and includes both price files available on V1 and V2. The user will use the tab to do updates for Entities that need to invoice for service dates post-October 2020 and prior to October 2020.

    • Click on the Tariff Packages All (V1 and V2) tab to open the available options. 


Please Note: The Tariff Packages All (V1 and V2) tab will be used when the user needs to update prices for a Practice that needs to do billing prior to October 2020 and billing post-October 2020.

    • The note informs the user that prices will be updated for all VAT rates (V1 and V2). If there are files available underneath To Push the (V1 and V2) tab will be the tab to use when updating prices for new installations. 

    • To Push Non-linking V1: The Tariff Packages without Medical Aid price linking will be seen here if available for an update.
    • To Push Linking V1: Tariff Packages with Medical Aid price linking will be seen here if available.

Tariff Update buttons

    • Click on the desired button to update tariffs prior to 1 October 2020. 


      • Push new Entity Tariff: The user will be able to update prices prior to 1 October 2020. 


      • Push new Entity Linking Tariffs: Allows users to update the Medical Aid price list linking.


      • "GEVAARLIK" Push all Entity Tariffs "GEVAARLIK": Will updated all Entities linked to the Odoo profile not only the Entity selected. 
    • A Confirm pop-up will appear if any of the Tariff Update buttons have been clicked. 


        • Click on the Cancel button to ignore the request to update and close the pop-up.


        • Click on the Ok button to proceed with the price update.

  • Click on the X on the Open: Doctors screen to exit the screen and return back to the Entities tab.
