GoodX Manage for Medical

The user will be able to Export Pricelist from one Pricelist collection that will be stored on the "Local Disk (X:)". From the Local Disk, the user will be able to Import these Pricelists onto another Pricelist collection.

This new feature will replace the old method of copying Pricelists using file data.

Please Note: The Pricetool: Import is divided into three parts, Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3. Refer to the Pricetool: Import Part 2 and Pricetool: Import Part 3 link or related button to open the Manual for more information on Part 2 and Part 3 of the Import.

• Log in to the GoodX Desktop App with your username and password.
• From the Navigator double click on the GoodX Manage Module. 

• The GoodX Manage screen will open.

• Click on the Pricelist Management button on the Toolbar.

• The Pricelist Collection screen will open.

• Double click on the Pricelist Collection that the user wants to Export. 

Please Note: For the purpose of this Manual, we will use the Pricelist for the MP 014 General Practitioner.

• The List: MP 014 General Practitioner screen will open.

• Click on the Update price lists button to open the Updating Tool.

• The GoodX Price Updating Tool screen will open.

• Click on the Export / Import data option on the Menubar. 

• From the sub-menu, click on the Export data option.

• The Data to process screen will open.
  

• Tick the checkboxes for the Data that must be Exported. 

Please Note: Refer to the Billing Groups, RVU's (unit prices) and Tariff Code link or related button to open the glossaries for more information on what the following options are.

• Click on the OK button to continue.

• The Select pricelist: Choose screen will open. 

• Tick the checkboxes in the Select column of the Pricelists you want to export.

Please Note: The user can right-click and Select All the Pricelists at once or tick only one checkbox to Select a single Pricelist. 

• Click on the OK button to continue and Export the selected Pricelists. 

• The Pricelists will Update. This process could take a while depending on how many Pricelists were chosen to Export.

• The Price Collection Maintenance Report screen will open after the Pricelists were Exported.

• The user can Email, Print or Download the Report from this screen if needed.

Please Note: Refer to the Options to Print link or related button to open the Manual for more information on the different Print Options.

Please Note: At the External Source line it will show the location that the Exported file is stored in e.g. X:/GXMN/PRICELIST/2021/MP_014_GENERAL_PRACTITIONER/ZA_VAT15_V2/pricecollection.db3. A new folder named MP_014_GENERAL_PRACTITIONER has been created in Windows Explorer containing the pricecollection.db3 file. The user will need to navigate to this folder on their computer to copy the Exported Pricelists. 

• Click on the Close button to close the Report screen. 

You will return back to the  GoodX Price Updating Tool screen.

• Click on Exit to go out of the screen.

• Information screen opens click on Yes.

• The List: MP 014 General Practitioner screen will open again.
  

• Click on the Cancel button to Exit the Price tool screen.
