Pricetool: Import Part 3

Please Note: The Pricetool: Import Part 3 continues from the Pricetool: Import Part 2 Manual.

In Part 1 of the Pricetool, the user will be able to Export the Pricelist from one Pricelist collection that will be stored on the "Local Disk (X:)". 

In Part 2 and Part 3, the user will Import the Exported Pricelists from the Local Disk, onto another Pricelist collection. This new feature will replace the old method of copying Pricelists using file data.

  • The GoodX Price Updating Tool screen will still be open. The user will need to Import the data again.


  • Click on the Export / Import data option on the Menubar


    • From the sub-menuclick on the Import data option.


      • The Data to process screen will open.


        • Select the Data to Import from the List. 


    • Click on the OK button to continue.

  • The Select pricelist: Choose screen will open. 


    • Tick the checkboxes in the Select column of the Pricelists you want to Import.

Please Note: The user can right-click and Select All the Pricelists at once or tick only one checkbox to Select a single Pricelist. 


      • Click on the OK button to continue and Import the selected Pricelists


        • The Pricelists will start Importing. Depending on how many Pricelists were selected to Import, this may take a while.


  • The Price Collection Maintenance Report screen will open after the Pricelists were Imported.

    • Click on the Close button to close the Report screen. 

  • The GoodX Price Updating Tool screen will open.


  • Click on the Maintain local pricelists button to see the newly added Pricelists.


  • The Pricelists screen will open.


    • The newly added Pricelist will display on the list. This does not necessarily have to be a new Pricelist that the user Imported. It can also be Pricelists that contains changes.
