How to Delete an Operation through grandXchange

Deleting an Operation from the Theatre List may be necessary for several reasons, such as cancelling the Operation, adjusting the schedule due to availability changes, or rescheduling the procedure. Deleting the Operation through grandXchange will notify all involved that the Operation will no longer be taking place, ensuring open communication between everyone.

Please Note: To use this function, a Theatre List and an Operation will first need to be created. For more information regarding creating a Theatre List and adding an Operation, please refer to the following user manuals: How to Add a Theatre List using the Theatre App and How to Add an Operation on the Theatre App.

Please Note: You are only able to Delete Operations if you are the Surgeon linked to the Operation.

  • This user manual will start on the View Theatre List Detail screen.


  • Click/Tap on the View button to open the Operation that you would like to delete.


  • The Theatre Operation Detail screen will open.


  • Scroll down to the end of the page.


  • Click/Tap on the Delete Operation button.


    • A Delete Operation pop-up will appear to advise that deleting this operation will result in the deletion of the Operation for the entire Theatre team, and if you are sure that you want to proceed.


      • Click on the Delete button.


  • The Operation will be removed from the Theatre List.
