System Options - Entity Setup

GoodX system setup is done for the most part in System Options. The most important part for the Entity is to get the Entity's information correct. The setup of the entity information is done on the Entity Setup tab.

  • Log in to the GoodX Desktop as the Supervisor.
  • From the Navigator, Double Click on the Options Module. 


  • An Authorisation/Password Necessary pop-up will appear.


    • Select the user from the User Name drop-down menu.
    • Enter the password in the Password field. 
    • Click on the OK button to proceed.

     Please Note: Only users with Supervisor access will be allowed to access the System Options. 

    • The System Options screen will open.


    • Click on the System Options button located on the Toolbar.


    • The Entity Setup tab and Entity Information screen will be open by default.


      • An explanation will be given for the fields on the Entity Information screen:

        • Data Folder: The Folder where the Entity's information is stored.
        • Entity Identifier: The Trading Name of the Practice. The Identifier must be unique per Practice, and normally relevant to Practitioners in Group Practices.
        • Entity Name: The Facility's Registered name as per Company Registration.
        • Registration Number: The Company Registration Number.
        • Vat No: Value Added Tax Registration Number.
        • Telephone number: Facility's main Telephone Number.
        • Practice Number: The BHF Number as supplied by the Department of Health.
        • Speciality code: The code that identifies the medical speciality of the Practitioners or other healthcare professionals at the Facility.
        • Fax No: The Facility's main Fax Number.
        • Medical Activity: Indicates the type of Facility and impacts the rules that govern the Facility.
        • Council No prefix:  Every type of Entity has a special prefix as indicated by the council.
        • Email: The default Email address for the Entity.
        • Website: The Entity's Website.
        • Postal Address: The Entities Postal Address.
        • Street Address: The Entity's Street Address.
        • Town/City: The Town or City the Entity's Facility is located.
        • Postal Code/Code: The code that indicates which postal area the Entity's Facility is located in. 
        • Entity Group [Optional]: Some Practices will group certain Entities to work in different Groups.

      • Click on the Print Options button to print the setup of all System Options Tabs.


      • Click on the Exit button to exit the Entity Setup screen without making any changes.


      • Click on the Save button to save the changes to any field made on the Entity Setup screen.


    Please Note: The Save button will only appear if changes were made on the Entity Setup screen.
