Making a Booking as a Non-Registered User

Making a Booking on myGC as a non-registered user allows potential Patients to explore and engage with the booking process without needing to create an account. This provides fast and convenient access to a wide range of Healthcare Practices, enabling Patients to view availability and schedule appointments without completing a full registration process. It offers a streamlined and user-friendly experience, allowing individuals to familiarise themselves with how the booking system works before committing to registration.

When the Patient is ready to finalise their appointment, they can simply register on myGC and continue without losing any progress, ensuring immediate access to available consultations while maintaining the security and integrity of the Practice’s scheduling system, ultimately supporting a smooth, intuitive, and efficient booking journey for both new and returning Patients.

Making Payments with Payment Request Links

Making a payment using a Payment Request Link enables Patients and Debtors to conveniently settle accounts with the Practice. GoodX Payment Links are integrated with a secure online payment platform, accessible through the myGC Patient Portal. It also provides Patients with a simple and familiar payment experience, while helping Practices reduce outstanding accounts and streamline financial administration.

💡Please Note: The Practice must be registered for this service and accept the terms and conditions before being able to use this feature.

Medical History Request

Completing the Medical History Request helps ensure your Practitioner has accurate and up-to-date information before your appointment. After confirming your booking via the email link or from the Access Rights screen, you can choose to copy your existing Medical History and submit it as is, or make updates before submitting. This step helps the Practitioner prepare properly and offer safe, personalised care during your visit.

Medical History: Chronic

A Chronic Condition is an illness that lasts a long time or recurs frequently. A Chronic Condition is a health condition or disease that has long-term or persistent effects or a disease that develops over time. When a disease's course lasts more than three months, it is referred to as chronic. The purpose of capturing Chronic Conditions is to advise a Practitioner that the Patient has long-lasting illnesses and/or conditions.

Medical History: Family

Listing family history can be an important step in identifying if any hereditary diseases have been passed down from previous generations that might require intervention.

Medical History: General

The General History tab covers basic questions such as how much the Patient smokes, consumes alcohol or recreational drugs, as well as how much exercise is performed weekly by the Patient.
