Pathology Clinical Report

The Pathology Clinical Report provides a comprehensive overview of all pathology-related requests and results within the Practice. It includes details about every pathology request made and the corresponding laboratory test results. This Report facilitates communication between Practitioners and Patients regarding their results, conditions, and treatment plans.

Pathology Request

Pathology Request allows Practitioners to electronically submit test requests to partnered pathology laboratories such as Ampath, Lancet, PathCare, and Vermaak & Partners directly through the GoodX system. This integration streamlines the process of requesting diagnostic tests and receiving results by eliminating manual paperwork and delays.

Once a Pathology Request is submitted, the test results are automatically returned and stored electronically in the system, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and easy access to Patient information. This enhances clinical workflow, supports quicker diagnoses, and promotes seamless communication between the Practice and the pathology laboratories.

Pathology Settings

Pathology Settings allow Practices to configure how laboratory requests and results are managed within the system. Since these settings are applied per Entity, they ensure that the configuration aligns with the specific operational needs of the Practice.

They also enable you to define default preferences for handling Pathology Requests and results, helping to standardise processes across the Practice, reduce manual administration, and ensure efficient and accurate management of pathology data.

Patient

A Patient is someone that is consulted or treated by a Medical practitioner from an illness or condition.



Patient Dashboard

The Patient Dashboard offers an overview of the Patient's details and their past clinical data, starting from their initial visit to the Practice.

Patient Dashboard Profiles

Setting up Patient Dashboard Profiles from the Diary segment allows the Practice to create condition-specific dashboards, such as profiles for diabetes or heart disorders. This setup ensures that Practitioners can easily select the most relevant profile for a Patient based on their condition, helping streamline clinical decision making, reduce information overload, and provide focused, condition-appropriate care.

Patient Documents

Patient documents contain personal information about a Patient, such as Medical History, Identification number and Medical Aid information. The user will use the Add Patient Documents function to add any existing Document(s) or file to the Patient's profile.

Patient File

The Patient File serves as a comprehensive record of the Patient’s Clinical History, containing all relevant medical information and Clinical Events. Within the file, Practitioners can access the Patient’s previous Scripts, Sick Notes, Investigation Forms, and other essential documents.

Having access to this information provides Practitioners with a clear overview of the Patient’s medical background, supporting accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.

Maintaining a complete Clinical History is vital for monitoring a Patient’s overall health over time and enabling Practitioners to deliver the highest standard of care. This detailed record allows Practitioners to track the progression of Chronic Conditions, note Allergies, and identify potential health risks.

In cases where a Patient is unable to communicate their Medical History, the inclusion of a thorough Clinical History within the Patient File becomes invaluable. It empowers treating Practitioners to make well-informed decisions regarding appropriate treatments, ensuring safe, effective, and patient-centred care.
