N

Nappi Code

NAPPI code is a unique identifier for a given ethical, surgical or consumable product which enables electronic transfer of information throughout the healthcare delivery chain.

A Nappi code last 3 digits will indicate the number of pack sizes.

You can receive Nappi codes from the suppliers or if the supplier is not able to assist you can use MediKredit website to assist you with a Nappi code for the stock items.

Navigation (Wheel) Settings

The Navigation (Wheel) Settings provide you with the flexibility to personalise the interface by selecting which features are displayed on the Navigation Wheel. In addition to customising the wheel’s layout, users can define which screen should automatically open when a specific segment is accessed. Furthermore, this configuration allows users to set a default segment menu to appear on the diary upon login, streamlining access to frequently used functions and enhancing overall workflow efficiency.

Cloud Capture allows you to save images and audio directly to the cloud, freeing up local storage, enhancing accessibility across devices, providing secure backups, and facilitating real-time collaboration and organisation.

Neurology

Neurology is the specialised branch of medicine dealing with the brain and nerves of the human body, and its nervous system. The Practitioner will perform a series of physical examinations to evaluate the nervous system for any possible sensory issues such as Parkinson's, Epilepsy, Cerebal Palsey, and various other neurological disabilities.

New Admissions (Hospital Rounds Management)

A Practitioner is able to add new Hospital Round Cases to the Hospital Round Management screen using the New Admissions screen. The Practitioner is thus responsible for adding all the relevant information to the Hospital Round Management case. The Hospital Round Management screen is used for scheduling and maintaining the Practitioner's Hospital Round visits.

Please Note: Hosptial Round Management has no relevance to the actual admission of the Patient to the Hospital.

New Booking Button

The New Booking button allows you to create a new appointment directly from the Diary screen. It provides a quick and efficient way to schedule a Patient’s consultation without navigating away from the main view. This function streamlines the booking process by letting you capture appointment details in real time while viewing the Practitioner’s schedule. It helps prevent double-bookings, saves time during busy periods, and ensures that all appointments are accurately recorded for reporting, billing, and patient management purposes.

New Insurance examination

Insurance examination is an examination that the Insurance companies require when a person applies for life insurance or any company that needs a physical examination on the person's body.

The appointment type New insurance examination is used to create an insurance examination on a new patient that does not have an electronic file at the practice. The electronic file must still be created when the patient arrives at the practice. The insurance booking allows you to add the insurance form reference number and necessary information the company needs for their documentation.

This type of booking can be chosen, depending on your type setup

New Insurance examination : Walk-In

The appointment type New Insurance examination: Walk-In is used to create an insurance examination on a patient without an electronic file at the practice and does not have an appointment and walks-in to the practice asking for assistance. The insurance booking allows you to add the insurance form reference number and necessary information the company needs for their documentation. The electronic file must still be created.

New Patient Refund

The New Patient Refund allows you to reimburse a Patient. Processing a refund ensures that any overpayments or adjustments are correctly reflected in the system. Once the refund is completed, the Debtor’s Statement will show that the amount has been returned, updating the account balance accordingly.

The Audit Statement will display the refunded amount as a positive entry, confirming that no funds are owed to the Patient.

This supports accurate financial reconciliation, transparency in Patient transactions, and helps maintain clear and compliant financial records within the Practice.
