E

E-mail History

The E-mail History screen will allow a user to view all the information regarding E-mails that have been sent to debtors and patients, to whom the e-mail was sent, when the E-mail was sent and whether the communication has been sent successfully. The screen will also show all the E-mails that have failed to send or that were cancelled.

E-mail Template

An E-mail is a message service that allows users to send letters electronically from one device to another via the internet. A Template is an electronic document that is used and has a predetermined page layout and style that can be changed to create the final product that is needed. A Template will show where specific page elements should go and may include mandatory standard text or graphics. E-mail Templates allow users to create standard E-mails to send out to Debtors/Patients. When sending E-mails users can select the relevant Template that will be sent. Creating E-mail Templates saves time and creates uniformity when communicating with Patients via E-mail.

EDI Response Service Date Change

The EDI Response Service Date Change allows the user to receive a message advising that the date of the service on the Invoice which was submitted to the Medical Aid has been changed.

Please Note: The date on the Invoice must be changed in order for this function to work.

EDI Reverse

If any changes need to be made to the claim that was filed, the user can use EDI Reversal to reverse the previously submitted claim that was rejected by the Medical Aid.

EDI Settings (Supervisor)

System options allow the user to set up the system to suit the needs of the practice and activates/deactivates certain functions in the system.

The EDI Settings is the switch that establishes communication to and from medical aids so that the practice can properly administrate their claims. GoodX Switch allows the user to submit claims directly and in real-time into all major medical aid computer systems and to receive proof of submission and delivery of claims directly into GoodX. It's important that the EDI Settings are set up correctly.

Edit a Doctor

Editing the Practitioner's details allows the user to update and change the current personal details of a Practitioner. Being able to make changes to the Practitioner's details is a useful tool for keeping important information up to date.

Edit other (F2)

The Main member demographic details can be edited when the patient arrives, if any information on the Main Member has changed, out of the appointment time slot.

The shortcut "F2" (F2 button on the keyboard) can be used when the correct timeslot is highlighted, to edit the demographic details of the Main member.


Editing Images

Editing an image gives you the ability to modify the currently selected image. This can include drawing, labelling, or adjusting the image to highlight specific details or areas of interest better.

Electronic Health Record

A central location where an individual's health data is kept in digital form, stored and exchanged securely, and accessible by multiple authorized users.

It contains historical and current information, and its primary purpose is to support continuing efficient and quality integrated healthcare.


Electronic Receipts

Electronic receipts are payments that were received from the patient from a bank account, for the treatment that was done.

EFT is another term for electronic payments that were received via Electronic Fund Transfer.
