Printing a Medicine Label allows the user to generate/create labels that are affixed to the packaging of medications. These labels help ensure that the correct medication is dispensed to the correct Patient and that all essential information is clearly communicated.
The information printed on the Medicine Label enables the Patient to safely and correctly use the medication as intended by the Practitioner, supporting accurate dispensing, Patient safety, and compliance with clinical and regulatory requirements.
Before labels can be printed, the Printing of Medicine Labels feature must be enabled. A label printer is required, and it must be correctly configured to work with the system. GoodX provides a list of recommended label printers that are compatible with the software, which can be customised to suit the required label size and ensure accurate, high-quality printing.
?Please Note: Only Practices that sell Material items and/or dispense Medicine will be able to Print Medicine Labels.
