Faxing remains essential for swiftly transmitting physical documents, ensuring legal compliance, maintaining security, and verifying signatures in industries like healthcare and finance. It offers a direct, reliable and secure means of communication.

💡Please Note: To use the fax function, the setup must first be completed. For setup information, see Services.

  • This user manual will start on the Clinical screen, with an already completed form.

  • Click on the Fax button.

  • The Fax - Add/Edit Workflow Event screen will open.

  • Complete the fields with the relevant information:

  • Fax Number: The number receiving the fax.

  • Alternatively, click Search Medibase and select a Practitioner from the list.

  • From: The number the fax will be sent from.



  • Cover Page: The format of the cover page when the Fax is sent.



  • Cover Page From: Includes details such as the sender's name or company name.



  • Cover Page To: Includes the recipient's name or company name.



  • Cover Page Subject: A brief description that helps the recipient understand the content or reason for receiving the fax.



  • Cover Page Organisation: This field displays the sender's company name, which is particularly useful when sending a fax on behalf of an organisation.



  • Coverpage Body: This body of the cover page allows the sender to include messages, instructions, reference numbers, or other details relevant to the fax transmission.




  • Click on the Add Pages button.

    • An Attention! pop-up appears, enabling you to add attachments.



  • Add the debtor statement by ticking the checkbox.



  • Click Choose Files to add an attachment.



  • Click OK to attach the files. 

  • Click on the Save button to send your fax.
