Automatic Logout will log the current user out of the system when they have been inactive for a certain length of time. Logging out automatically assists with security measures within the Practice. By default, the Inactivity Timeout is set to 480 minutes (8 hours).

Before the GoodX system will log the user out automatically, the user will first need to set up the Inactivity Timeout in User Settings: General Settings. For an extensive explanation of how to set the Inactivity Timeout, please refer to the user manual: General Settings.

• Once the pre-setup time for the system to automatically log the user out of GoodX Web App has elapsed, an Attention! pop-up will appear to advise the user that they will be logged out due to inactivity.

• A timer will then count down from 30 seconds in order to give the user the opportunity to remain logged in.

• Click on the Cancel button to remain logged in.
  

• Click on the Ok button to continue to log out.
  

Please Note: Once the timer has run out, the system will automatically log the user out and return to the Log In screen.
