Diary: Different Views (Render Policies)
The Render Policies feature found on the Diary screen is a simpler way for the user to view all of the bookings for the day, in various ways best suited to the user. These views can range from a whole Diary screen, to a more condensed set-up with all the bookings for the selected date in a list view.
- Log in to the GoodX Web App using your GoodX username and password.
- The Diary screen will open.
- Click on the Render Policies button in the top right corner to access the different views of the Diary.

- The Render Policies button will give a drop-down menu:
- Timeslot (Overlap): Overlapping appointments are sorted on the same line.
- Timeslot (Stacked): Overlapping appointments sorted underneath each other.
- Stacked by Time: Bookings sorted in chronological order.
- Stacked by Type: Bookings sorted in order by Booking Type.
- Stacked by Status: Bookings sorted in order by Status.
- The Diaries will look as follow when the different Render Policies are selected:
- Timeslot (Overlap):
- Overlapping bookings will show on the same line, next to each other.
- Timeslot (Stacked):
- Overlapping bookings will show underneath each other.
- Stacked by Time:
- Bookings for the selected day are organised chronologically by time. The user is able to easily see which booking is up next in a more condensed way.
- The screen below is an example of the default screen that appears when selecting the Stacked by Time Render Policies option.
- Below is an example of a screen with the Booking Fields time option set up, making it easier for the user to see the start and end times of each booking for the selected date. For more information regarding the setup of the Booking Fields time, please refer to the user manual: General Settings.

- Stacked by Type:
- The bookings for the selected day will be displayed by the type of booking chosen by the user. These would be Consultation, Theatre, Out of Office, Cancellation etc. found on the Add/ Edit Booking screen. - Stacked by Status:
- The bookings for the selected day will be displayed by the status of the booking related to the patient, this is whether they have Arrived, been Admitted, are Ready, have been Treated or Invoiced, whether there has been a Cancellation, etc. For more information regarding advancing a Booking's Status, please refer to the user manual: Advancing the Status of a Booking.
