Stock Management

The Stock Items Screen sidebar is located on the right-hand side of the Stock Items screen and contains additional options and information about Stock Items. From the sidebar, you are able to view the Item's information and Print Barcodes for the specific Item. Bulk Actions are available where you can print multiple barcodes for several different Items.

• This user manual will start on the Stock Setup screen, Stock Items tab.

• For more information regarding the Stock Setup screen, please refer to the user manual: Stock Setup Screen: Navigation and Use.

• Click on the desired Stock Item.

• Click on the Sidebar Expander button to extend the sidebar of the selected Stock Item.

• The Stock Items sidebar will open.

Actions 

Options that are available for the selected Stock Item.

• Click on the Print Barcode button.

• The Print Barcodes screen will open.

• Click on the Quantity field to add the number of Barcode labels that you would like to print for the selected Item.

Please Note: The default Quantity will always be 1.

• Click on the Ok button to print the Barcodes.

• The Barcodes will be sent to the Printer, set up to print Barcodes.

Item Information

Information regarding the Stock Item that was selected.

• Name: The Name of the Stock Item.
• Presentation: The form in which a medication is produced and dispensed for example: Tablets, capsules, liquid suspensions, injectables, creams, etc.
• Strength: The amount of active ingredient in a given dosage form or unit, for example, 500 mg of paracetamol per tablet.
• Strength Presentation: The combination of the strength of the medication with its presentation, for example, 500 mg tablets, 120 mg/5 ml syrup.
• Volume: The total amount of liquid in which the active ingredient is dissolved or suspended, for example, 100 ml bottle of cough syrup.
• Volume Presentation: The description of the volume of the medication in its dispensed form, for example, 100 ml bottle, 30 ml vial for injection.

Please Note: Not all fields will have information as the information that is displayed is dependent on the type of Stock Item that has been selected.

• Click on the Levels Breakdown button to view Stock Levels.

• The Stock Level List screen will open.

Bulk Actions

Allows you to Print Barcodes for multiple Stock Items.

• Tick the corresponding Checkbox to select the desired Stock Items on the Stock Items List screen that you want to Print Barcodes for.

• Click on the Print Barcode button.

• The Print Barcodes screen will open, with a list of all the Items that you have selected.

• Click on the Quantity field to add the number of Barcode labels that you would like to print for the corresponding item.

• Untick the Print checkbox if you would like to exclude the corresponding Item from the Barcodes that will be printed.

• Click on the Ok button to print the Barcodes.

 

• The Barcodes will be sent to the Printer, set up to print Barcodes.
