Navigating and Understanding the Report Screen



The Report screen provides an overview of all generated Reports, where you can Create New Reports, View, and apply Filters to the existing Reports. The Reports displayed on this screen include the Age Analysis Report, Debtor Drilldown Report, and Debtor Statistics Report.

  • The contents of this user manual will consist of the following information:
    • Filter Sections
    • Screen Columns Action Buttons 
    • Columns 
    • Page Options

  • This user manual will start on the Reports screen.


  • An explanation will be given for each field and option on the Reports screen:

Filter Sections

Filters are tools or functionalities that allow you to narrow down or refine the results displayed on the Report screen.


  • Click on the Description field to enter the details of the Report you are searching for, only 3 characters are required before the results will start filtering.



  • Add the date range to specify the range for filtering the Report, indicating both the start and end dates.



    • Click on the Date field to select the desired date from the Date Picker that has become available.


Please Note: Dates can also be entered manually.

  • Click on the Category field to select the classification of the Report you are looking for.
    • Tick the checkbox of the desired Report categories on the list that has become available.



  • Click on the Type field to select the type of Report you are looking for.
    • Tick the checkbox of the desired Report type on the list that has become available.



  • Click on the Created By field to select the User that created the Report you are looking for.
    • Tick the checkbox of the desired Username on the List that has become available. 



    • Click on the Filter Options field to enter the Name of the User to Filter the List of Users to the one you are looking for. Only one character is needed in order to start the search.



  • Click on the Update Results button to refresh the Report List after the Filters have been selected.



  • Click on the Reset Filters button to clear the Filters that have been set.




Screen Columns Action Buttons 

Several additional Options are available for the Columns. These additional Options are to help the User adjust the Report, refine the Search and give more specific results.


  • Click on the +Add New button to create a New Report.



  • Click on the Expand Widths button to auto-fit the Column Width to the information within all columns.



  • Click on the Reset Widths button to restore the original Widths after any modifications were done.



  • Click on the Sort Columns button to sort the Columns in the order that you desire.


  • Click on the Choose Columns button to select the columns that will be displayed on the List.


  • Click on the Default Layout drop-down menu to select the type of layout that will be used for the screen.


Please Note: The Report screen only has the option to be displayed using the Default Layout and no other options are available for the layout of the Report screen.


Columns 
All the information on the Report screen is divided into Columns to logically group related information together.



  • Created‎: The Date and Time that the Report was Generated.
  • Description‎: The Name that was given to the Report when it was generated.
  • Report Type Category‎: The Category of Report Type that was generated.
  • Report Type Description‎: The Name of the Type of the Report that was generated.
  • Created By: The Name of the User that Generated the Report.


Page Options
All the additional options that are available for the page.



  • Click on the Previous button to Navigate to the Previous Page.



  • Click on the Page Number button to Navigate to the desired page.



  • Click on the Next button to Navigate to the Next Page



  • Click on the Items drop-down menu to select the Number of items that will be displayed on the screen.



  • Click on the Export to PDF button to save the Report as a PDF file.



  • Click on the Export to CSV button to save the Report in a CSV format.
