Disabling of QR Code

A QR Code is a machine-readable image that can be scanned instantly using a smartphone camera. A QR code is made up of a series of black squares and dots that represent various kinds of data. A QR Code can appear on different Workflow Events so for example, a script. When the Dispenser scans the QR Code the Dispenser can then see if the script is valid or if the Medication has already been dispensed to the Patient. A user with access to the Configurations segment is able to disable the QR Code from different Workflow Event Types.

  • Log in to the GoodX Web App using your GoodX username and password. 
  • The Diary screen will open. 


  • Click on the Navigation Wheel on the Navigation Bar.


    • The Navigation Wheel will open.


  • Click on the Configuration segment.


    • The Cash Register Management screen will open.


  • Click on the Workflow Event Type Info tab, located on the Navigation Bar.


    • The Workflow Event Type Info and Management screen will open.


  • Click on the Search for Workflow Event Types... field.


    • Type in the name of the Workflow Event Type on which the QR Code will be disabled, for example, the Script Workflow Event Type will be used.


  • Click on the View button.


    • The Attention! pop-up will appear.


      • Click next to the "generate_gr":true, command.


        • Remove the word true from the Command and Type in the word false, as shown below.


          • Click on the Cancel button to exit the Attention! pop-up without keeping the changes.


          • Click on the Ok button to keep the changes made and exit the Attention! pop-up.

Please Note: The Setup column's button will change from the Coalesce button to the Override button to indicate the changes have been kept.

  • Click on the Save button to save the changes made to the desired Workflow Event Type.


  • Click on the Close button to exit the Workflow Event Type Info and Management screen.
