GoodX Manage for Medical

In Part 1 of the Pricetool the user will be able to Export the Pricelist from one Pricelist collection that will be stored on the "Local Disk (X:)". 

In Part 2 the user will Import the Exported Pricelists from the Local Disk, onto another Pricelist collection. This new feature will replace the old method of copying Pricelists using file data.

• Pricetool: Import Part 1 ends on the Pricelist Collection screen: 

• Double click on any other Pricelist Collection that you want to add the Exported Pricelist (Part 1) to.

Please Note: For the purpose of this Manual we will use the MP 052 Clinical Pathology to add the Exported Pricelist.

• The List: MP 052 Clinical Pathology screen will open.

• Click on the Update price lists button to open the Updating Tool screen.

• The GoodX Price Updating Tool screen will open.

• Click on the Export / Import data option on the Menubar. 

• From the sub-menu, click on the Import data option.

• The Data to process screen will open.

• Select the applicable option to Import from the Data to Import List. 
  
• Only one option can be selected. 

• Click on the OK button to continue.

• The External Data Import screen will open.

• Type a Reason for importing external data (minimum 20 characters long).

• Click on the OK button to continue.

Please Note: NO data has been Imported at this stage. The system only created a folder named MP_052_CLINICAL PATHOLOGY in the user Local Disk X on their computer.

• The GoodX Price Updating Tool screen will open again. 

• Open Windows Explorer on your Computer.

• Delete the pricecollection.db3 file from the MP_052_CLINICAL PATHOLOGY folder.

• Use the arrow to go back

• Until you are back to: This PC > Data(X) > gxmn > pricelist > 2021 >

• Double click on the MP_014_GENERAL PRACTITIONER folder to open the folder. The user must copy the price collection file from the MP_014 folder. 

• Double click on the ZA_VAT15_V2 folder to open the folder.

• The Price Collection folder for the MP_014_GENERAL PRACTITIONER will open. 
  

• Right-click on the pricecollection.db3 file and select Copy from the drop-down menu.

• Navigate back to the main Price Collection folder and open the MP_052_CLINICAL PATHOLOGY folder.

• Double click on the ZA_VAT15_V2 folder to open the folder.

• Right-click in the folder and select Paste from the drop-down menu.

Please Note: The Price Collection file is now Copied from the MP 014 GENERAL PRACTITIONER folder into the MP 052 CLINICAL PATHOLOGY folder. The user can now close the folders and Navigate back to the Pricetool screen in the Desktop App.
