Make a Walk-in booking for a new Debtor/Patient



When a 
New Patient walks into the Practice to make an appointment to see the Doctor immediately. Patient data needs to be captured when the booking is made.

The patient is a walk-in patient and will be marked as arrived when the patient is put on the electronic diary because the patient is already at the practice. The patient's electronic file must still be created. Choose new walk-in as type (depending on your type setup)


  • Sign in to the GoodX WebApp using your GoodX username and password.

  • From the Main Diary page
  • Click on the New Booking Button 



  • From the Add/Edit Booking screen Select and click the Type as Walk-in from the available Drop-down list


  • You will notice that as soon as you select Walk-in, the status will automatically change to Arrived as the patient is already at the practice 



  • Add the details as you usually would with a normal booking 


  • Click on Save to save your booking, you will be directed back to the main diary screen.

  • Click on Close to cancel the booking and return to the main diary page  



  • On the main diary page, you will see your booking as a Walk-In in an Arrived Status 


  • PLEASE NOTE : The file has not been created and the debtor still needs to be created and added to the booking
