QR Code

A QR code (Quick Response code) is a two-dimensional barcode that contains information in a machine-readable format. It can store various types of data, such as text, URLs, contact information, or other data types. QR codes are often scanned using a smartphone or other QR code reader, allowing the encoded information to be quickly accessed. 


QR Code on Referral Letter

A QR code will appear on the Referral Letter (if set up), enabling a Practitioner to verify that the letter is valid and to download a digital copy of the letter.


QR Code on Script

A QR code will appear on the Script (if set up), allowing the Pharmacist to validate the integrity of the Script, mark the items as dispensed, make sure of the authenticity of the document and prevent duplication so that Patients do not take the prescription to multiple pharmacies to be filled.



QR Code on Statement

A QR code will appear on the Statement (if set up), enabling Debtors and Patients to settle their accounts at the Practice; simple, instant and secure. GoodX Payments are currently integrated with Peach Pay. Patients will make payments through a secure Peach Pay online payment platform, via the myGC Patient Portal.


Qty - Quantity

Quantity is the number of the same stock item used or number of same consultation/ procedure that was done.

The total that was used on the patient or done on the patient.


Queries: Statement

The statement will display all transactions on the specific debtor. Statements will be used to inform the debtor/patient of all the transactions that took place on the account and if any amount is still outstanding. The statement can also be used for enquiries and auditing purposes.

Queries: Totals

Generates a Totals report of all the outstanding amounts per age: Total, Medical Aid and Patient in a table as well as graph form.
