Calculate interest

Interest can be charged on accounts that are in arrears and not being paid. The calculate interest function should first be set up before the function can be used. Please ensure that you are up to date with the regulations before interest is allowed to be added to patients accounts. From a certain percentage, the practice should be registered as a debt collector before interest is allowed to be added to the patient's account. The patients should also be informed before the interest can be implemented.

Calculations According to Multitier or no Multitier

Multitier Markups are a general global rule that has been applied that states that depending on the schedule and the amount of a stock item, there will be a certain mark-up on the dispensed price that cannot be changed and will include manufacturing costs, delivery fees, and so on. The World Health Organization established the rule, which is enforced by our Department of Health. global set rules by the Medical Aids. Multitier generates a monetary mark-up for the Practitioner; here are examples of how these markups are calculated on the system when invoicing.

Calendar

The calendar is an electronic diary with preset dates and time intervals, and slots where appointments or bookings can be made.

calendar is a system for organising days for social, religious, commercial or administrative purposes. This is done by giving names to periods of time, typically daysweeksmonths and years. (According to Wikipedia.)

Cancel a range of appointments (Ctrl + R)

Purpose: Range of appointment is when more than one of the same appointments was made with the other appointment (range) function and the range must be cancelled or deleted.

Or if appointments have been made for the day, and the doctor needs to leave the practice for any certain reason, emergency etc. then the appointments made for the time slot in that day can be deleted.

GoodX will ask if the whole range must be cancelled/deleted or just one of the time slot bookings of the range.

The time slot can be reused for other bookings.

Capture Audio on Cloud Capture

Adding a Voice Recording to Cloud Capture is a useful tool used by the Practitioner to make Voice Notes. Voice Notes can be used while consulting with a Patient and whilst the Practitioner is making their clinical notes. The recording can be saved on the Cloud Capture and then uploaded to the Patient's file on the GoodX Web App for future reference.

Capture Date

The date the transaction was captured and posted to the system. If the Capture date is incorrect this means that the computer date settings are incorrect.

The Capture date will display on the login screen next to the date field.

If the transaction is not captured on the same day as when the patient was seen, the transaction date and capture date may differ

Capture Images on Cloud Capture

Capturing Images using the Cloud Capture App allows users to take images in real time using the device’s camera and securely store them in the application’s cloud environment instead of on the mobile device itself. These images can then be accessed via the Web App and uploaded directly to the Patient’s file.

Using a cloud-based image capturing improves security and protects Patient privacy by preventing sensitive clinical images from being stored on personal or mobile devices. This reduces the risk of unauthorised access, data loss, or accidental sharing, while supporting secure record-keeping and compliance with confidentiality and healthcare documentation requirements.

Capturing Images

Capturing Images allows images to be taken in real time using a webcam or the device’s built-in camera directly within the system.

The captured image can then be uploaded to the Patient's file. This ensures that visual information is accurately recorded, supports clinical assessment and documentation, and that the correct image is uploaded to the correct Patient file.

💡Please Note: Capturing images is done from the Video Capture screen, which can be accessed from several places within the software.
