The Control function is the most active part of your compliance system. It is where you create the specific, repeatable actions that will prevent a Risk from turning into a real-world problem. If the Risk is "Fire Equipment Failure," the Control is the actual schedule that tells a staff member to go and check the extinguishers.

This feature is the "engine room" of the Practice's safety management. It allows the Practice to move beyond identifying problems and start implementing solutions. By setting up a Control, you are creating a formal promise that a safety check or a quality audit will happen at a specific time, by a specific person, for a specific reason.
