Why Use This Function:

Adding and Linking New Items is often necessary when items that were not included in the original snapshot are discovered. These may include newly received items, overlooked products, or items not yet recorded in the system. Allowing these items to be added during the Stock Take ensures that all physical inventory is accurately captured without restarting or delaying the process. This saves time, reduces manual effort, and helps prevent errors, which improves the overall accuracy and efficiency of inventory management while ensuring that all changes are communicated and traceable.

• This user manual will start on the Stock Take screen.

• For more information regarding how and where to create a Snapshot for a Stocktake, please refer to the user manual: Creating a Snapshot (Web App).

• Double-click on the Snapshot that you are working on.

• The Stocktake screen will open with all the items that are currently linked to the Stock Take.

• Click on the + Add New button to add items that have been counted but not yet linked to the Counting Location.

• An Attention! pop-up will appear.
  

• Click on the Select Counting Location drop-down menu to choose which Counting Location the item will be linked to, when the Stock Take is Posted.

• Click on the Ok button.

💡Please Note: If the Warehouse doesn't have multiple Counting Locations, the items will automatically be linked to the default location, and no pop-up will appear.

• The Stock Items screen will open. 

💡Please Note: An information message will display at the top of the screen, to advise which warehouse the item will be linked to.

• Select the relevant items by ticking the corresponding checkboxes of the desired items.

• Click on the Select button to link the selected items to the Stock Take that you are currently doing.

• The selected items will be added to the Capture Values screen, so that it can be counted.
