Switch between Entities

The purpose of having different Entities in a Practice is for big Practices with a variety of Doctors. Each speciality will then have its own Entity. There can be multiple Doctors of the same speciality on one Entity.

  • From your Navigator screen >> You can open ANY Module from the Navigator (the Entities button will be visible on the Menu bar in all the different Modules from the Navigator)

For this Manual >> we will open the MedDebs screen.

  • The default Entity will always open first, in this case, the GP Entity.

  • If you want to switch to a different Entity, on the Menu bar >> click on Entities.

  • Select the List of Entities option

  • The Choose Entity screen will open. If there's more than one Entity it will display here.
    • No: this is the entity number on the list eg. 1 or 2 or 3 etc.
    • GoodX: this is the Entity Name eg. GP's, Dentists etc.
    • Practice Name: this is the name of the Doctor's Practice
    • Practice No: this is the 7 digit practice number like received from BHF.
    • Country: this is the country the practice is registered in. The country will display the country code and flag.
    • Prefix: this is the abbreviation for the entities files that will be opened eg. DEB1 or DEB 50 etc.
  • You can select the Entity that you want to switch to and click on Continue.

  • The entity that you selected will then Open. In this case the Dental Entity.

TAKE NOTE: When switching between Entities, it will change the Entity (Company) and NOT the Module.

  • When you want to open another Module eg. GX Manage >> minimise your MedDebs screen >> from the Navigator open the GX Manage Module.
  • This Module will open the default Entity that you originally logged in with, in this case, the GP Entity. You can then switch the Entity again to another one from this Module.

TAKE NOTE: You can have more than one tab open of the same Module, but in two different Entities for eg. MedDebs for the GP Entity and MedDebs for the Dental Entity.

  • Click on EXIT if you want to close the Entity.
