An appointment can be made for a person whereas it would be an insurance examination.

An insurance examination is an examination that the Insurance companies require when a person applies for life insurance or any company that needs a physical examination on the person's body.

The appointment type Insurance examination is used to create an insurance examination on an existing patient with an electronic file at the practice. The insurance booking allows you to add the insurance form to reference the number and necessary information the company needs for their documentation.

• Log in to the GoodX Desktop App with your username and password.
• Double click on the Diary module.

• The Diary screen will appear
• Click on the correct timeslot for the booking

• From the Menu bar, click on Appointment.

• From the submenu, click once on the Insurance examination option

• The Debtors screen will appear, search for the correct debtor.
• Click once on the correct debtor.

• Click once on the OK button or F2 on your keyboard

• Reason for appointment screen will appear.

• Complete the following information.
• Service Centre: From the drop-down, you can select the applicable service centre.
• Appointment Type: From the drop-down, select Insurance.
• Referring Doc: Search for the correct referring doctor.
• Dependants: To add dependants click on the Dependants button

• Extend or F3: You can extend the appointment by another appointment slot
• Click on the Ok button or F2 button on your keyboard to save the changes.

• The New booking will appear in the Diary.
