Stock Take
- This function will be used for Capturing your Counted units after your actual count.
Step 3: Capturing the Counted Quantity
- We always count in units and you always capture the units
Open the Stock module
Click on Corrections
Click on Stock Take
Select the correct counting location or bin and click on Capture values
The list can be sorted by Code, Description, Nappi Code or Bin-Linking
Enter a Reference number
Enter the number of Units counted in the yellow columns against the correct item
- The values in Blue are the values as per the snapshot
- When you work with Counting Locations there will never be values in the Snapshot Values (Blue columns). Only when you consolidate then the Snapshot values will display.
Press Tab to navigate through the fields
NB: The line must turn green: if the line does not turn green the values that you have typed in will not be adjusted. If you do not have any stock of an item in your practice and the item is on the snapshot you must make the item Zero, by typing a "1" and press the down arrow on your keyboard before you press tab. Example :
Type in Counted units = 1
Press the Down arrow on your Keyboard
The line will turn green and the Counted units will turn to Zero
Click on Close when done. The Close button will not post the Stock-take but only save the Stock captured.
- Follow the step for all the different Counting Locations or Bins.
- Counting locations setup: When your Capturing of the values is Done, please move to the next step (Consolidate) of the Stock Take or Click here for Step 4 instructions - Consolidate.
