Email/Electronic Mail can have attachments, such as a statement or communication, that can be sent to the patient in an electronic format with a message through a network and internet service. Allows you to send electronic mail to the Debtor/Patient. The Hospital can send information to Debtors/Patients via Email.
This user manual will start on the Email - Add/Edit Workflow Event screen.
Complete the field with the relevant information:
To: The Email address of the recipient who will receive the Email.
💡Please Note: The To field is filled automatically with the email of the Debtor in the Debtor’s file, and you can also select a Practitioner from the Medibase as the recipient of the email.
Click on the Unencrypted Email button to encrypt the email.
Click on the Encrypted Email button to unencrypt the email.
Click on the Search Medibase button next to the To field.
The Search Medibase screen will open.
For more information on how to search for and select a Practitioner from the Medibase List, please refer to the user manual: Medibase List Search.
Click the desired Practitioner from the Medibase List to automatically populate the Practitioner’s email address in the To field.
Complete the field with the relevant information:
Cc: The email addresses of additional recipients who should be informed. These addresses are visible to all recipients.
Bcc: The email addresses of additional recipients who will receive the email privately. These addresses are hidden from other recipients.
Subject: A single line of text that informs the recipient what the Email is about.
Click on the Free Text Box and type in the message that you want to convey to the recipients of the email.
💡Please Note: The Free Text box does not contain a character limit.
Click on the Attachments button if you wish to attach a file to the email.
Click on the Send button to send the email to the desired recipient and exit the EMAIL - Workflow Event screen.
