Booking Confirmation Status Trigger Setup
Improve your Practice's efficiency by setting up a booking confirmation link, which can be sent to Patients via SMS and/or Email. By Clicking on this link, a Patient can confirm their booking which will then display on the Practice's Diary, reducing the chance of no-shows.

- This user manual will start on the Diary screen.
- Click on the Settings button on the Navigation bar.
- The Settings screen will open.
- Click on the Entity Settings tab.
- The Entity Settings screen will open.
- Click on the Workflow Event Templates panel.

- The Workflow Event Templates screen will open.
- Click on the Choose Event Template Type to Add Template for... drop-down menu.

- Select the Email option from the Choose Event Template Type to Add Template for... drop-down menu.

- Click on the Add Template button.
- The Workflow Event Template screen will open.

Workflow Event Template Setup
Setting up the Booking Confirmation Link Email Event is an important initial step when it comes to setting up the Trigger. This setup allows for MyGC to contact the Patient via Email with a link to their booking, for confirmation.
- Click the body of the Email Template to insert the correct Placeholder.
- Click on the Choose... field to select the desired Placeholder.
- The Placeholder drop-down menu will open.
- Click on the mygc.booking_link.confirm-Patient booking confirmation link. option.
- The Placeholder will be added to the Body of the Email.
- Click on the Save button.
Add Template to Booking Type
Now that the Booking Confirmation Link Email Workflow Event Template has been created, additional setup is required to link this template to a Booking Type.
- Click on the Settings button on the Navigation bar.
- The Settings screen will open.
- Click on the Diary Settings tab.
- The Diary Settings screen will open.
- Click on the Booking Type Setup panel.
- The Booking Type Setup screen will open.

- Click on the Panel of which Booking Type the Workflow Event Template should be added to.
- The selected panel will expand.
- Click on the Add Template drop-down menu.
- Select the previously created Workflow Event Template.
- The selected Workflow Event will be added.

- Click on the Save button.
Booking Status Change Triggers
Set up a Booking Status Change Trigger to have a specific action occur when a Booking Status is changed. In this case, when a Booking is Confirmed through the link provided to the Patient, a booking will be made on the Diary.
- Click on the Settings button on the Navigation bar.
- The Settings screen will open.
- Click on the Diary Settings tab.
- The Diary Settings screen will open.
- Click on the Booking Status Change Triggers panel.
- The Booking Status Change Triggers screen will open.
- Click on the Booking Confirmed drop-down menu.
- The drop-down menu will open.
- Click on the Booked option.
- Click on the Save button.
