Frequently Asked Questions are questions that users ask on a regular basis. FAQs give basic information in order for a user to help themselves when they have questions regarding the problems that they are having.
Booking Event Templates allow users to set up custom communication events using Workflow Event Templates. Booking Events can be scheduled to be sent out before or after the booking takes place or at a specific time. Each event will be triggered when a booking is made on the diary. This saves time and allows the Patient to complete forms before they visit the Practice and surveys after they have been to the Practice, ensuring that communication is automated.

- Why did my automatic SMS/Email not send out?
- Set up has been done incorrectly.
- The Booking Event has been overridden by another event that has a higher priority.
- Why will my automatic SMS/Email be overridden?
- Event Templates are set up according to different levels. How setup is done will determine how and when the automatic SMS/Emails are triggered. For more information regarding the levels and their setup, please refer to the user manual: Understanding the use of Booking Event Template Setup.
- Can I set up the same SMS/Email event more than once with the same template?
- No, a new template will need to be set up for each SMS/Email that will be sent. If you would like more than one SMS/Email to go out at the same time, each one would need their own template. - How do I set up automatic SMSs/Emails that will send every time a booking is made on a global level, for the whole practice?
- You will set up your settings in Entity Settings. For more information on how to set up the templates, please refer to the user manual: Booking Events Template Setup (Entity Settings).
- How do I set up automatic SMSs/Emails that will send every time a booking is made on my Diary?
