Unless expressly stated otherwise, the following tariff codes are always considered Carve-Outs
throughout all FF Categories in this Agreement:

*Tariff code 273 (TTO’s)
*Tariff code 021 (Private Ward fees)
*Tariff codes 301, 302, 407, 411 & 413 - Casualty

Where the Claim contains more than 1 FF Category and the selected FF Category for
conversion does not contain a Category-specific Carve-Out whereas the other FF Category
does, then the cost of such Carve-out is NOT included as an additional line with the FF Rate
for the converted Category. Carve-outs are therefore always Category-specific.

The Estimates tab offers a comprehensive overview of all Estimates associated with a Patient's Case. It also allows you to perform various actions directly from the Case Account, such as viewing or editing, downloading, emailing, accepting, and rejecting Estimates.

The Temporary Invoices tab displays all Invoices that have not yet been posted to the account. This allows you to create an Invoice and make any necessary changes before posting it to the account and switching it to the Medical Aid.

The Case Account Tab provides a comprehensive view of all transactions related to a Patient’s Case. It also enables you to perform various actions on the Case Account, such as creating Receipts, Credit Notes, Journals, and promise-to-pay agreements. Additionally, you can download Invoices, view and action Estimates, and manage Temporary Invoices directly from this tab.

Case Labels can be printed and put on the Patient's hard copy file, the theatre and billing charge sheet, also on clinical notes of the patient. Labels can be customised for each client.

A Case is where a patient is admitted to the Hospital/Day clinic/Rehab for a certain medical condition or procedure. The Case Management screen can, therefore, be used for Admission of New Cases, Management of the Case during and after admission, Discharging of the Case, and Finalising the Case. The Case Management screen can, therefore, be used for Admission of New Cases, Management of the Case during and after admission, Discharging of the Case, and Finalising the Case. 

Case Management Filter Options enable the user to search for Cases based on specific criteria, Cases that do not fit the desired Criteria can be screened out by using the Case Management Filter Options. The Case Management Filter Options are based on the columns in which the Results list has been divided. Once a Case Management Filter Option is selected, the Results list will update according to the Case Management Filter Options that have been chosen.

The Case Management Sidebar is an extended screen on the right-hand side where more functions and information is shown about the Patient admitted to the Hospital and is mainly used to navigate to the different screens quickly via the buttons, for example, a user is able to navigate to the Debtor Information screen, Account Details screen and the Invoice Details screen.
