Bed Management Report

The Bed Management Report provides a comprehensive overview of the current bed occupancy status within the Hospital. This report is crucial for Hospital administrators, nurses, and Practitioners to efficiently manage Bed allocation, track Patient flow, and ensure timely care. It helps optimise bed utilisation, streamline Patient transfers, and maintain accurate records.

Bed Management View Summary

The Bed Management View Summary allows the user to generate a Bed Management report. The Bed Management Report advises in which ward, room and bed the Patient is in, as well as the Name, Surname and Gender of the Patient and the dates that the Patient was admitted or transferred. The report assists the staff in seeing which beds have been occupied and what beds are available in the Hospital.

Bed Management: Change Bed Type

A user is able to change the Bed Type of the Patient to fit the needs of the Hospital for, example when there is no more space in the General Ward a user can change the bed type in the High Care ward from a High Care Bed Type to a General Ward Bed Type. A Bed Type is a type of bed used for Patient care and treatment, for example, an adult will have a normal bed but a baby will stay in a cot. The Bed type can also determine the price that the patient pays to sleep in the bed.

Bed Setup

A user can set up different types of Beds for different types of medical care a Patient needs. Certain beds can only be used for certain Wards for, example, a cot can only be available in a pediatric Ward. Additionally, using the Bed Setup function, a user can make beds for Patients to occupy, giving the user better access to the Patient's Hospital case and the ability to track where the Patient is in the facility.

Bed Types

Billing a Theatre Session

When a Patient undergoes a surgical procedure, they spend a defined duration of time in the operating Theatre. After the operation, the start and end dates and times of the Theatre Session are recorded. These Theatre Sessions are then incorporated into the Invoice, with calculations based on specific billing codes.

Book Recurring Services for a Patient

Scheduling a Patient for recurring services allows you to book a certain service for a Patient and allocate it to a staff member who will be responsible for supplying the specific service to the Patient.
