A small cardboard or paper container that holds stock items. 

Purchased items often come in bulk containers, so the whole container is called a pack. 

For Example: Panado tabs can be bought in a pack of 12, 24, 36 or 1000 and 5000 tablets in one container.  The pack size will be 12,24,36,or 1000 and 5000.
