Why This Matters?

Screen Columns Action Buttons provide tools to customise and refine the information displayed on a list screen. Depending on the screen, you can use these options to show or hide columns, apply filters, and focus the list on the information most relevant to your needs.

Once you have arranged the columns and filters to suit your requirements, you can save the layout for future use. This means you can return to the same screen with your preferred information already configured, without setting it up again each time. This is particularly useful when regularly working with detailed lists or reports that require a specific layout.

Action Buttons

List Item Actions

• Open Row: Open and edit the selected list item.
• Add New: Create a new list item.
  
  

Column Actions

• Expand Widths: Auto-fit column widths to the content in all columns.
• Reset Widths: Reverts column widths to the default system setting.

Layout Actions

• Layout: How the screen is displayed. 
  • Default: Pre-configured system default of the screen.
  • Context: Provides additional filter options for refining the information displayed in a Report. It helps you narrow the Report results by applying more specific criteria, making it easier to focus on the information relevant to what you are reviewing.
  • Custom: Previously saved layouts.
