Promise to Pay
The Promise to Pay function allows the Debtor to make an agreement with the Practice to make any necessary payments. There are many scenarios where the Practice and the Patient may go into a Promise to Pay agreement, for example, when the Medical Aid does not cover the cost or when the Medical Aid funds are depleted, then the Practice can use the Promise to Pay function. The Promise to Pay function makes n note that the Debtor/Patient will pay by a certain date and will then remind the Credit Controller/Receptionist to take further steps if payment has not been received by the agreed-upon date.
