A Combination is also known as a Macro, Basket or Protocol. This is a set of stock, procedures and/or consultations that are always used for a specific treatment. The combination is set up for a treatment with the necessary items and tariff codes. Using Macros saves time and assists with fast and efficient billing. 

Adding Start and End Dates to combinations per doctor will allow the user to set up a combination within a specific time that will only be active for the practitioners that have been selected to use the specific combination within the setup time period.

• Log in to the GoodX Desktop using your GoodX username and password.
• From the Navigator Double Click on the MedDebs Module.
  

• The user will start on the Combination Lists screen. 
  

• For more information on how to get to the Combination list screen, please refer to the user manual: Combinations (Protocols).

• Click on the desired Combination that the user would like to add a start and end to.

• Click on the drop-down menu on the Dates per doctor button.

 

• A sub-menu will become available with the following options:
• Edit dates per doctor 
• View dates per doctor 
• View dates for all doctors

Edit Dates per doctor 

Allows the user to set up the start and end date for a specific combination.

• Click on the Edit dates per doctor option on the menu.

• The Treating Practitioners screen will open with the list of all the practitioners that are registered at the practice.
  

• Click on the desired practitioner for whom the user would like to set up start and end dates for, on the combination that was selected.
  

• Click on Cancel to close the Treating Practitioners screen and return to the Combinations lists screen to cancel the setup.

• Click on OK(F2) or press the F2 key on the keyboard to continue with the setup of the start and end dates.
  

• The Maintain list screen will open. 

View date per doctor

Allows the user to view the start and end dates that have been set up on the specific combination per practitioner.

• Click on the View dates per doctor option on the menu.

View Dates for all doctors

Allows the user to view the start and end dates that have been set up on the specific combination for all the practitioners.
