Export Combinations
Combinations can be exported as a full list with its contents or one selected item with its contents. This will allow the user to easily see which items have been set up in a specific combination or all combinations that have been set up. This can be used for importing and exporting purposes.
- The contents of this User Manual will consist of the following information:
- Export Combinations With Items - Full List: All Combinations with line items.
- Export Selected Combination With Items - Selected: Single Combination with line items.
- Log in to the GoodX Desktop using your GoodX username and password.
- From the Navigator Double Click on the MedDebs Module.
- The Main MedDebs screen will open.
- From the Menu bar, click on Lists.
- Click on Combinations from the sub-menu.

- Click on Combination codes from the second sub-menu.
- The Combination Lists screen will open, all the combinations that have been set up will be listed here.
Export Combinations With Items
This allows a user to export a full list of combinations with the line items which has been pre-set up by the user.
- Click on Actions on the menu bar on the Combination Lists Screen.

- Click on Export Combination With Items on the sub-menu.
- This allows the user to export the combinations list and save it on the computer.
- It is possible to choose the desired location, by navigating to the location.
- Add a file name that the exported combination will save as in the File Name text box.
- The file can be saved in a few formats: Click on the link of each file type to view an explanation thereof.
- A Confirm pop-up will appear to advise that the Data has been successfully exported and ask whether the user would like to open the file.
- Click on No so that the file does not open, but still saves for later use, the confirm pop-up will then disappear.
- Click on Yes to open the File.
- The file will open in the file type and program that the combinations were saved in (MS Excel Spreadsheet *.xls will be used as the example).
- The information will be divided into columns on the spreadsheet :
- Item code: The unique code that has been allocated to the item.
- Description: The name as well as any specifics that describe the item/procedure.
- Pricelist: Which pricelist the item/procedure is linked to.
- QTY: The quantity that will be charged on the patient's account which indicates the number of items used , or how many times a procedure was done.
- Price 1: The first billing price that has been loaded onto the system. This is the default price that will be used during billing unless set up otherwise.
- Price 2-5: An alternative billing price that applies specifically to the group or plan of the medical aid.
- This pricing method is no longer in use, only currently used as an exception, this is in the process of being phased out.
- Active: Whether the item is an active or inactive item on the stock list.
- True: The item is marked as active on the pricelist.
- False: The item is marked as inactive on the pricelist. These items/procedures will not be able to be billed until made active.
Export Selected Combination With Items
This allows a user to export a single selected combination with the line items which has been pre-setup by the user.
- Return to the Combination Lists Screen.
- Select the combination from the list that would like to be exported, by clicking on it.
- Click on Actions on the menubar.
- Click on Export Selected Combination With Items on the sub-menu.

- This allows the user to export the selected combination and save it on the computer.
- Please follow the same steps as above in order to export the selected item.
- An example of how one a single combination will look like once it has been exported
- The file will open in the file type and program that the combination was saved in (MS Excel Spreadsheet *.xls will be used as the example).
Please Note, depending on the file format that has been selected to save the selected item that the information and format thereof will display or save differently.
