Booking Location Setup
Entity Settings are set per Entity and not per user to customize the program to the specific needs of the Practice. The entity settings will determine how functions are set up and work per entity.
The purpose of setting up the booking location is to make it easy for the Doctor and Receptionist to allocate the Patient to a certain location if its a very big Medical Practice/Day clinic/Hospital with multiple consultations or treating rooms. This
will indicate on the Diary which patient is at what location in the Practice.
To access the Settings:
- From the Diary screen, click on the Settings button in the top right corner.
- Click on Entity Settings
- Click on the Booking Location Setup Settings
- Name: Name of the different locations in the Practice.
- Diary: The diary that is linked/selected for this specific location.

- (+) Add Location: Click on the Add Location button to add a new location within the practice where the doctor treats the patients.

- A new option will be added at the bottom of the list. Give the location a Name.
- Click on the Red dustbin button to Remove/Delete the new field/location.
- Click on Save to save the new Settings.
- Click on Close to exit the Settings screen without saving.
Example of where the Location will be selected on the system:
- When booking an appointment for a Patient >> the Location can be chosen on the Add/Edit Booking screen.
- The Location can/will be displayed on the booking on the Diary (IF the location is set up as a booking field under User Entity Settings >> General Settings >> Booking Fields).
- The location can also be changed on the booking self by clicking on the drop-down arrow.
