VoIP Settings: Navigation and Use
Entity Settings are set per Entity and not per user to customize the program to the specific needs of the Practice. The entity settings will determine how functions are set up and work per entity.
The purpose of the Voip function will allow the Doctor/User to make phone calls from the System. This will enable the 'Dial' button on your Diary screen on the Sidebar.
TAKE NOTE: This is a Paid for service. If you want to enable the Voip function on your system you need to send an email to kwotasies@goodx.co.za to receive a Contract. Please contact the GoodX Office and speak to the FCL of your Practice for the necessary arrangements.
To access the Settings:
- From the Diary screen, click on the Settings button in the top right corner.

- Click on Entity Settings
- Click on the Voip Settings Panel.
- Enable Voip: tick the box to enable the voip function on the system
- Voip password: this will be a unique password set up per Entity to use the Voip function. This will be sent from your FCL.
- Trunkname: this is the name of the phone lines that transmit calls over the Internet. This will also be set up by your FCL.
- Click on Save to save the new Settings.
- Click on Close to exit the Settings screen without saving.
