Accounting Management

Purpose: To change the default link Method on how the system will prompt the user to add a cost centre when selecting a specific ledger 

An explanation of the Methods available:

   > Whenever the user selects a specific ledger linked to this method the system will prompt the user to.....

1. "Select at point of capture - no default" -  .... select a cost centre as well.
   
2. "Always default cost centre" - ....NO cot centre selection option
3. "Default cost centre , user can override - ..... use the default cost centre BUT will have an option to override.

Roadmap: GoodX Manage >> Global Lists >> Ledgers >> Link Cost Centre to Ledger

The following screen will appear

• As standard, the Method will always default to nr1,  "Select at point of capture - no default " for the cost centre.
• To change the Method, in the applicable ledger line, click in the Method column on the drop-down, and select the required method.

• To select a default cost centre, in the applicable ledger line, click in the Cost Centre column on the drop down, and select the required cost centre

• Click on OK. The following screen will appear to confirm the changes done. Click on Yes.
