If you need to test the SMS service you can access the Test SMS button here.

once you've clicked on the menu item you will be able to setup the test SMS

Type in the Recipient Name, Mobile Number,dTest Message and then click on Send to test the SMS

Send the Test SMS and wait for the SMS to arrive at the chosen device.
